Icediving Event Sils/Engiadina

Last weekend, the annual ice diving event took place at Lake Sils. 10 scuba divers and 2 freedivers met for 2 days of diving under the thick layer of ice.

After a fall shortly after arriving on Friday evening, I was handicapped. (The diagnosis of severely torn and overstretched ligaments followed on Monday).

With and thanks to the help of everyone involved, I was able to enjoy the weekend in 2 degree cold water and have great sessions.

The scuba divers also made it possible for us two freedivers to do DYNB / distance diving.

Although I could only dive with one fin, I had a lot of fun.

On the second day, I was the first mermaid in the icy waters of Lake sils.

The two days were rounded off by exciting conversations and good food.
